Volunteer Opportunities
Our providers work in 4 hour slots 1-2 times a month. The following volunteer positions are currently available:
1. Physicians, Physician's Assistants, Nurse Practitioners
We are glad to work with you on the day and time of your choosing. Please contact the office manager, Celeste Paula at Helpinghands12@Outlook.com
2. Nurses or Medical Assistants
We do not require you be a licensed RN or CNA as long as you have the knowledge to check the patients into their appointments. This requires weighing the patient, taking vitals, noting the reason for their visit and list of medications they take.
Bilingual Volunteers also welcomed!
Donate
The State of Tennessee Safety Net Grant; our primary source of government-revenue; reimburses us based on the number of patient visits. We also get monetary assistance from the City of Morristown Emergency Shelter Grant, Hamblen County Commission and United Way. We are supported by donations from businesses and individuals in Hamblen County.
